At an Elephant’s Pace: Faith, Strength, and the Stories We Carry
There are moments when a piece of jewelry does more than sparkle, it speaks.
Recently, I saw one of my clients wearing a pearl elephant necklace I created, with delicate 1111 charms woven into it. Her face was radiant… grounded… present. In that moment, it was clear that this piece was doing much more than beautifying, it was reminding.
It took me back to something that has defined much of my life: elephants.
A Lifelong Love for Elephants
I have loved elephants ever since I can remember, not just for what they symbolize, but for who they are.
Elephants are magnificent creatures. They are strong yet gentle, deeply faithful to their families, and unwavering in their loyalty. Guided by memory and emotion, they protect their own, grieve together, celebrate one another’s joy, and move through life with power that is centered, not frantic.
When an elephant places its foot down, there is no trembling, only strength rooted in presence and purpose.
To me, that is what God calls us to:
