Elsie Mendez is the founder and designer of Elsie in Naples, a boutique where fashion meets purpose, soul, and transformation.

Known for her ability to help women feel seen, beautiful, and empowered, Elsie curates custom jewelry, elegant silk and linen apparel, and thoughtful accessories that bring out her clients’ inner light.

Before launching her boutique in Naples, Elsie built a 25-year career as a celebrated radio and TV personality across Dallas, New Orleans, Miami, and Colombia. In New Orleans, she founded a bilingual weekly newspaper serving the Latino community and, inspired by her late mother’s love of adornment and fashion, she opened two successful jewelry stores.

Her life took a dramatic turn after surviving Hurricane Katrina and the heartbreaking loss of her mother—all in a few months. She was an extraordinary woman whose strength and creative spirit continue to guide Elsie’s every step. Out of that pain came clarity: to use her talents to uplift others, turning beauty into healing and joy.

Today, Elsie’s boutique at The Perry Hotel in Naples and online at elsieinnaples.com serve clients from all over the world. She also leads ElsieMendez.com, a bilingual life coaching platform where she empowers others through positivity, spirituality, and self-love.
